Vodacom has released a trading statement for the second quarter of 2024.

Vodacom has published a trading statement for the quarter ended 30 June 2024, reporting a 2.6 million drop in customers since March.

Vodacom South Africa’s revenue grew by 1.9% to R21.8 billion, while group revenue increased by 1.5% to R36.2 billion. Vodacom South Africa’s average revenue per user dropped for prepaid customers from R58 to R50 per month year-on-year.Vodacom Group CEO Shameel Joosub said the company’s diversification strategy is paying off.
