According to the announcement shared with Cointelegraph, the duo teamed up to register the .blockchain Web3 domain with the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers , the world’s authority on IP addresses and domain names. ICANN will implement new generic top-level domains by the second quarter of 2026. As a result, Unstoppable Domains and Blockchain.com have a year to prepare for the new domain’s application.Over the years, Blockchain.com onboarded 40 million verified users, created over 90 million crypto wallets and supported $1.2 trillion in crypto transactions.
