Pulse and Cocktails, on the A63 near Brough before the road mergers into the M62, has lodged an application to renew its sex establishment licence with East Riding Council. Sex establishments including shops like Pulse and Cocktails are required to renew their licence every year. They are also required to follow special rules including their interiors not being visible to passers by and no adult material or literature can be displayed in its windows.
She said: “We have quite a few regulars who will come in and tell us their life story and they end up trusting us. “Sometimes it is like counselling and we can help give advice on ways to spice things up in the bedroom,” Jacqueline said. “I wouldn’t say we help save marriages but we can certainly help make things better. “The key is that we do not judge and all this becomes normal for us and everything remains within these four walls.
