The growing adoption of cryptocurrency from institutions, stablecoins, and asset tokenization are all signs that the crypto industry has reached a positive inflection point of demand said Jonathon Miller.

Kraken Australia CEO Jonathan Miller said institutional crypto demand is lagging in Australia but stablecoins and the right policy moves could see it catch up.

“We‘re still seeing quite an increase in adoption here. People are starting to invest again, and there are lots of people building new businesses around crypto as well,” he said. “It’s very hard to take risk and invest in the crypto space in Australia because there’s just that lack of certainty.”
