Major fintechs have expressed concerns about the cost of operating in Ireland's trading environment and have called on the Central Bank to relax parts of its new 'sandbox' for financial technology firms. The Fintech and Payments Association of Ireland (FPAI), representing companies such as Amazon, Revolut, and Stripe, submitted a letter stating that the cost of the regulatory hub hosted by the bank could be 'prohibitive'.
