Athena Bitcoin, the company operating a state-owned chain of crypto ATMs in El Salvador, plans to integrate the Lightning Network into 100 of these machines in the next couple of months.the use of the Lightning Network technology across their technology infrastructure and will now begin implementing them at first in El Salvador and then across Latin America.The Lightning Network is a"layer 2" payment protocol that enables faster withdrawals and minimizes transaction fees.
