Stocks were sharply higher and trading near session highs with less than 50 minutes to go in Monday’s trading session. The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, +1.77% was up 552 points, or 1.7%.

The S&P 500 SPX, +1.36% advanced 1.3%, while the Nasdaq Composite COMP, +1.33% jumped 1.2%, after both indexes last week fell into correction territory. All three major indexes remain on track for monthly losses.
