Geelong star Tom Hawkins has been left “a little irritated” his new contract has not been signed, former teammate Josh Jenkins revealed, after years of taking pay cuts to keep the Cats’ squad together.
Fox Footy’s Jon Ralph said the three-time premiership forward and Geelong were not “seeing eye-to-eye” over a new deal that would see Hawkins play on for an 18th season.“This guy has played 350 games of football – he’s been there forever.panellist Ben Dixon agreed it was up to Geelong to get on the front foot.The comments come as Jenkins revealed Hawkins was “not feeling the love” from the club where his dad also played.
