It has been no secret that Gold Coast has put its pick four in this year's draft on the open market. This is because the Suns have at least three academy players at the top of this draft, and they have been looking to stack up on lower picks to facilitate matching bids for those guys while also keeping a bit of a hand left over.
The Western Bulldogs have long been considered the front-runners for that pick, and both SEN and The Age are reporting this morning that the Dogs will soon win that race. Expect the Dogs to give up picks 10, 17 and a future first for pick four and a few third round picks back. The Suns will probably then start shopping those picks 10 and 17 around too. And on and on it goes, this thing of ours.
