A Pokemon Trading Card Game Collection Contest has been announced, in which collectors in the UK, France and Germany can win prizes for showing off their collections.

. Winners and runners-up in the UK, France and Germany will be announced every two weeks, starting with Round 1 on July 24.

Winners will receive Pokemon TCG-related prizes, including Elite Trainer Boxes, booster packs, accessories and more. The Pokemon Trading Card Game launched in 1996 in Japan and has released over 100 different expansions since its debut. In August, the next main set, Scarlet and Violet –Flames will be released, and then later in the year, Pokemon 151, a new expansion celebrating the original lineup of Pokemon, will also release.

A Pokemon Trading Card Game video game was released on the GameBoy in 1998 in Japan and worldwide in 2000. A Japan-only sequel was released a few years later.
