Despite the rumours the Wellington Dukes are staying put.

After trading away just about every player on their roster over the last few days Wellington Dukes owner Ken Clement says it will be business as usual for the Ontario Junior Hockey League club in the fall.

Citing their long history Clement says they have turned the corner on their financial issues and are coming back stronger than ever. And to complete the new look on the bench, behind the bench and in the front office, Wellington will also introduce 35th anniversary jersey’s next year. From team owner Ken Clement; The Wellington Dukes are an integral part of the community. Not just Prince Edward County, but both the Quinte Region and Eastern Ontario.
