The first step toward kicking this process into gear was Rodgers letting the Packers know he wanted to be traded to the Jets. He did that on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Wednesday. Now the Jets and Packers need to agree to a trade. It would behoove both parties to get this done in a timely manner — each needs to move forward with its offseason plan — and the expectation is that a trade will at least be agreed upon by the end of the week.
What might the trade look like? That’s unclear. The Packers will ask for the moon and have to settle for less. At the start of the process, at least one first-round pick seemed likely to go to Green Bay, but I’m not as sure it’ll cost that anymore. If we’re making predictions, I’ll say: Jets trade their 2023 second-round pick, a conditional 2024 third-round pick and wide receiver
ZackBlatt Conner McGovern did not start the last three years at Center for the Jets
ZackBlatt Aaron needs some time to adjust the Jets roster, coaching staff, training staff, cooking staff, travel staff and receptionist to his liking. Oh, and he is currently picking out a new shade of green for the Jets uni's. The current one is not to his liking. darknessretreat!
ZackBlatt 'A deal is expected by the end of the week' by who exactly? I don't expect a deal until shortly before the draft.
