Baker has joined MA Moelis as an executive director from UBS, where he spent the past year, and formerly worked at Canaccord Genuity and Macquarie.
“He has excellent relationships with domestic and offshore institutional investors and brings significant product knowledge and experience to the firm,” MA Moelis’ head of sales and trading Bryan Johnson said. It comes soon after MA Moelis recruited small cap specialist Roger Gamble from Bank of America, who also joined as an executive director in equity sales and trading.
