The report says cryptocurrency executives were allegedly concerned that SBF's Alameda Research was trying to “depeg stablecoins.”

for bankruptcy, there was a conversation between CZ and SBF on Nov. 10, 2022, in a Signal chat group called “Exchange coordination.” The Signal group’s chat logs were apparently seen by the WSJ and high up crypto execs like Tether’s CTO Paolo Ardoino and Kraken co-founder Jesse Powell are purportedly members of the group.

The WSJ report details that SBF was accused of trying to destabalize stablecoins and more specifically tether . “A Tether official and the head of the world’s largest crypto exchange grew alarmed that Sam Bankman-Fried was trying to destabilize the stablecoin,” the WSJ reporters Patricia Kowsmann, Alexander Osipovich and Caitlin Ostroff allege. However, in a statement made to the WSJ, SBF denied the claims made in the report about the Signal chat conversation.

Kowsmann, Osipovich and Ostroff detail that Binance’s CEO Changpeng Zhao confronted SBF about the alleged depegging attempts. “Stop trying to depeg stablecoins,” CZ is cited as saying. “And stop doing anything. Stop now, don’t cause more damage.”

Sounds about right. I’m glad that my Tether is fine.

Are stablecoins a necessary component of the crypto ecosystem, or are they ultimately detrimental to its growth and development?

Do the actions of a few individuals, like SBF, reflect on the entire crypto industry, or should they be judged on their own merits?

Is depegging stablecoins a legitimate trading strategy, or is it inherently destabilizing and therefore unethical?

Is it fair for the WSJ to publish chat logs without verifying their accuracy or providing SBF with an opportunity to respond? What do you think?

Should CZ have confronted SBF directly in the chat group, or was there a more appropriate way to handle the situation?

Is it appropriate for high-level executives from competing crypto exchanges to be members of the same chat group? If they are looking for a more secure and private chat. They should check about PandaApp

Are the accusations against SBF and Alameda Research justified, or is this just a case of competitors trying to damage their reputation?

Fellow should be tried & punished for interfeering with US elections! He along with Pres. Bidum are guilty of sending US tax $$'s to Ukraine who intern bought into this PONZI that then donated to Com-Dem candidates. Was 2nd to Soros' donations of $$'s to influence election!

My concern was tether, which fortunately stayed tethered
