Vodafone Ireland is turning green with a new initiative allowing customers to trade in their old smart phones for cash.
Vodafone is the first telecommunications company in Ireland to offer an online trade-in service, with customers receiving up to €400 for a smartphone. The launch of this trade-in offer marks another significant planet-friendly step for Vodafone, who in June 2021 announced that its entire Irish operations including mobile and fixed networks, data centres, retail and offices were 100% powered by electricity from renewable sources, making it Ireland’s first green network.
