A spokesperson for the company was unable to confirm exactly how many people are employed by Laura Ashley in Ireland, however all of the jobs are at risk. There are also four Laura Ashley stores in Northern Ireland. However, it said the Covid-19 virus outbreak has “had an immediate and significant impact on trading, and ongoing developments indicate that this will be a sustained national situation”.
